Debut dystopian novel Radiowave. Published under the name Albert Nords.
The events of the dystopian novel “Radiowave” unfold in a totalitarian post-war future, where the main characters face profound questions: What is more important — one’s own well-being or the life of an entire society oppressed by authoritarian rule? Strict obedience to the rules, or the risk of saving a protesting group of people?
Each character must decide for themselves.
The situation becomes even more complicated when the protagonist is forced to make a single, crucial choice — when the life of a loved one hangs in the balance.
The novel is currently available to read in Russian only, but I’m working on the translation and hope to release an English version in the future.
You can take a look at how the novel came to life on Instagram:
Photos from Bunker-703, MoSCOW.
For several decades, this bunker operated as a secure special archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is not the setting of the novel — not even a prototype — but visiting it was an essential part of the writing process. It allowed me to realistically portray underground technical structures and service tunnels.
